Dubai, UAE; Bavaria, Germany—28 October 2025—To support the digital transformation of enterprise operations, Seed Group, a company of The Private Office of Sheikh Saeed bin Ahmed Al Maktoum, has entered into a strategic cooperation with Simplifier, a low-code platform provider from Germany. This joint venture seeks to meet the rising demand in the UAE for agile business application development.
Simplifier, founded in May 2012 and headquartered in Bavaria, Germany, enables companies to build and integrate applications with minimal programming effort. Focused on seamless SAP integration, the platform is trusted by over 100 SAP customers and has supported the development of more than 10,000 Fiori applications. Its clientele spans multiple industries and includes global names such as Rolls-Royce Power Systems, REWE Digital, and Siemens. With backing from institutional investors PwC and Possehl, Simplifier is expanding into the MENA region to support enterprises modernising their IT ecosystems.
Commenting on the significance of the recently formed partnership, Hisham Al Gurg, CEO of Seed Group and The Private Office of Sheikh Saeed bin Ahmed Al Maktoum, said: “The use of low-code platforms is growing quickly around the world, and this change is important in the UAE as organisations work to digitalise their complex operations and optimise legacy systems. Simplifier has a strong track record that fits well with our objective of contributing to the advancement of the country’s digital evolution. Their ability to connect different systems with little programming effort will greatly help both public and private sectors in Dubai and the larger MENA market.”

“Rapid yet sustainable digitalisation with new technologies such as low-code and AI represents a — literally — unlimited, shared responsibility. Our vision is to enable companies around the world to develop their business applications independently and with a significantly better cost-benefit ratio than before, thus opening the door to innovation.
“Less development routine means more time for what matters: growth, scaling intelligent, user-centric digital solution models, and genuine value creation through a modern process-based, rather than document-based, business-to-business approach. At Simplifier, we also leverage the diverse capabilities of AI, for example, to automate routine programming tasks or to minimise error rates and increase the quality of business processes through intelligent testing mechanisms,” stated Simplifier’s CEO, Reza Etemadian.
This strategic partnership is an essential move for Simplifier in expanding its value proposition throughout the Middle East. Developing this collaborative effort with Seed Group would help it enter the regional market and support Dubai’s continued efforts to build a digital economy.
