Seed Group Announces Strategic Partnership with Taiwan Blockchain Startup OwlTing to Drive Blockchain Adoption in the UAE

Seed Group, a diversified group of companies owned by The Private Office of Sheikh Saeed bin Ahmed Al Maktoum, today announced a new strategic partnership with OwlTing, a Taiwan technology company founded in 2010, focusing on e-commerce and blockchain solutions dedicated for global travel services, hospitality, food security, agriculture, aviation and more. The partnership will combine OwlTing’s expertise in blockchain technology and innovation with SEED Group’s interest in driving the blockchain adoption as a key to secure operations and in conjunction with the government’s vision for the city to be fully-powered by blockchain by 2021. The official signing ceremony was held on 23 July 2019 in Dubai at the headquarters office of Seed Group.

OwlTing Group is headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, and is operating globally through its branch offices in the USA, Japan, Thailand, and Malaysia. It also introduced OwlNest, the world’s first blockchain hotel management service, and launched the world’s first food provenance scheme based on Ethereum, OwlChain, which has been mainly used by a million consumers to date.
